Our Story and Heart
I’m Kate, and beauty isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. With more than 30 years in the beauty industry, I’ve combined traditional, old-school professionalism with modern techniques to create a space that’s welcoming, relaxed and built around you.
From the moment you step into our salon in Bowral (and now also serving clients from Shellharbour), we want you to feel looked after, understood and truly refreshed — because self-care should be restorative, not rushed.
The Meaning Behind the Name
The name Siva carries deep personal meaning for us. It was inspired by the success and legacy of Kate’s grandfather, who owned and operated Avis Rent a Car in Australia and helped grow the business into a true household name. His dedication, integrity and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on our family and continue to shape the way we run our salon today.
He believed that real success comes from looking after people properly — with consistency, care and pride in what you do. That same philosophy lives on at Siva Beauty Body Soul. Every client who walks through our doors is treated with genuine attention, respect and warmth, because building trust and long-term relationships matters more to us than quick transactions.
For us, the name Siva represents family values, resilience, and heartfelt service. It’s a reminder that behind every great business is a commitment to community, quality and people first — something we strive to honour every single day in both our Bowral and Shellharbour salons.
